Bangalore :- Upon arrival
at Bangalore, our Executive
will meet you at the Airport
followed by transfer from
Airport to Hotel. Later
for half day city out of
Bangalore visiting - the
"Bull Temple"
a typical example of the
Dravidian-style temple.The
temple has a huge monolithic
bull 4.5m tall and 6m long.
It is believed that the
source of the river Vishwa
Bharathi originates from
the feet of the Nandi(Bull),
"Tippu palace"
fine examples of Indo-Islamic
architecture that also offer
a glimpse into the Mughal
lifestyle of the day.

Gardens" , "Vidhanasoudha"
- a massive neo-Dravidian
architecture presently functioning
as the state legislative
assembly and the "Bangalore
Palace" - Built in
the year 1887 with architecture
based on Tudor Style (Overnight

- 02
|
|
| Hassan
:- After breakfast check
out from the hotel and drive
to Hassan. Enroute visit
- Saravanabelagola, the
famous Jain pilgrim center
& one of the oldest
in India. The collosul statue
of Gomateswara with a height
of 57 feet is situated on
the summit of Indragiri
hill. It is one of the two
giant sculptures in the
world, after the Collosus
Ramses II in Egypt. Onward
drive a short while to reach
the hotel in Hassan. Afternoon
visit to the famous Hoysala
temples of "Belur &
Halebid". |

12th century temples of
Belur and Halebid stands
the most beautiful for its
most beautiful sculptures
when compared to any other
temples in south India.
Typically these temples
are squat & star shaped.
Its outstanding sculptures
all over the walls and pillars
states the stories from
the old Hindu epics. It
also describes the story
of the rulers of Karnataka
and their interest in dance
and music. Return to the
hotel in the evening (Overnight
at hotel in Hassan). |

- 03
|
|
|
Madikkeri :- Check out
from hotel after breakfast
and drive to Madikkeri
(Mercara) - known as the
Scotland of India. Enroute
visit to Dubare Elephant
camp - has been historically
an important camp as in
earlier days The Elephants
for the famous Mysore
Dassehra were trained
at Dubare elephant camp.
Later proceed to Madikeri.
On arrival check in to
hotel and later for sight
seeing tour visiting -
Abbey falls & Omakeshwara
temple (Overnight at hotel
in Madikkeri).

- 04
|
|
| Mysore
:- Departing the hotel after
breakfast drive to Mysore
- the palace city of South
India. On arrival at Mysore,
sight seeing tour of Mysore
visiting - the Famous "Palace
of Mysore": Built in
1912 in the indo Saracenic
style, this palace exudes
a grandeur that is unmatched
and then on to The "Jayachanarajendra
Art Gallery" housed
in the Jaganmohan palace:
that has a collection of
Exquisite paintings dating
back to 1875. Later drive
to hotel and check in. |
| Later
check in to the hotel and
at 16.00hrs visit to the
bull temple (a 4.8mts monolith)
on the middle of hill on
the way to Chamundi temple
and then to visit the "Chamumdi
Hill Temple" at a height
of 1062mts. The 2000-year-old
temple is dedicated to Goddess
Chamundi. A seven storey,
40mts high tower, dominates
the temple (Overnight at
hotel in Mysore). |

- 05
|
|
|
Mysore ( Somnathpur &
Srirenagpatnam ) :- After
breakfast we set on a
day excursion to Somnathpur
and Srirangapattinum.
Somnathpur - a tiny village
on the banks of the Kaveri.
Here in this everlasting
rural stillness, like
a milestone to eternity,
stands one of the last
and the grandest of Hoysala
monuments - the Kesava
Temple. After visiting
in here we drive to Srirangapattinam
- a place with Ancient
history is an Island fortress
town on the bank of river
cauvery. Visit the Srirengapatnam
fort and the summer palace
of Tippu sultan.

sightseeing of Srirengapatnam
break for lunch at a nice
resort in same town. After
lunch we visit Ranganathittu
Bird Sanctuary at a 3km
distance on one of the three
islands in the Cauvery River.
The sanctuary houses Storks,
Ibis, Egrets, Darters, Spoonbills,
Cormorants and many other
birds round the year. A
small boat trip in the sanctuary
makes it very comfortable
for a watch of these birds
at its closest proximity.
Later return to hotel (Overnight
at Hotel in Mysore). |

|
|
Bangalore
:- Check out from hotel
according to flight timing
and the tour ends today
with a departure transfer
to Bangalore Airport for
onward flight.
