- 01
|

Chennai :- Upon arrival
at Chennai, our Executive
will meet you at the Airport
followed by transfer from
Airport to Hotel. Afternoon
for a half day city tour
of Chennai visiting - Government
museum, St.Thomas Churcsh,
Kapaleshwar Temple, Fort
St. George & Museum
and to end with a visit
to the chennai boast Marina
beach. (Overnight at hotel
in Chennai)

Day
- 02
|
|
| Mamallapuram
:- Check out from the hotel
after breakfast and we drive
to reach the laid back beach
town of Mamallapuram. Enroute
sight seeing tour of Kanchipuram
visiting - Varadaraja perumal
temple (dedicated to god
Vishnu), Ekambareshwar temple
(houses the 3500yrs old
mango tree) & Kailasanathar
temple (dedicated to god
Shiva). A lunch at the south
Indian restaurant (Saravanabhavan)
while in Kanchipuram will
give you the real taste
of south Indian delicacy. |
| Later
proceed to reach Mamallapuram.
On arrival check in to hotel
and then on for sight seeing
tour of Mamallapuram visiting
- 'The Arjuna`s Penance'
(Bass Relief), 'Five rathas'
(symbolises equality of
men & women) & the
famous 'Shore temple'. Apart
from the above said monuments
we also visit many other
cave temples. Later check
in to hotel and rest of
the day free for own activities/leisure
on the beach. (Overnight
at hotel in Mamallapuram) |

- 03
|
|
|
Tanjore :- Check out
from hotel after early
breakfast and drive to
Tanjore - The Chola Citadel.
Enroute visits temples
of "Gangaikonda Cholapuram"(famous
Shiva temple) with its
beautiful high towers
full with many small sculptures
depicting stories of old
epics and "Darasuram"
temple (built in memory
of the White elephant
- AIRAVATH from the gods
family), the temple has
its original name as "Airavatheshwar
temple".

Onward proceed to reach
Tanjore. On arrival check
in to hotel and later
for sight seeing of Tanjore
visiting - famous Brihadeshwara
temple (dedicated to lord
shiva in the form of Linga)
& The Palace Museum.
(Overnight at hotel in
Tanjore) .

Day
- 04
|
|
| Trichy
:- Departing the hotel after
breakfast, drive to Trichy
- a town situated on the
banks of river Cauvery.
On arrival at Trichy sight
seeing tour visiting - "Sriranganathaswami
temple" at Srirangam
- The most revered of the
108 pilgrimage shrines of
Vishnu, and the largest
temple complex in all India.
The temple is famous in
the name as Srirengam, name
of the town as such because
the town of Srirangam lies
within the boundary wall
of the temple. |
| Onward
visit to "Sri Jambukeshwara
Temple" at Thivanaikoil.
The temple signifies the
one of the five elements
"Water" and we
can see water oozing out
near the Shivalinga idol
in the temple. Later visit
the "Rockfort temple".
A 437 rock cut steps will
reach you the top, where
in is the shrine of the
god Ganesh. (Overnight at
hotel in Trichy) |

- 05
|
|
|
Madurai :- Check out
from hotel and drive to
Madurai. Madurai is known
to be one of the oldest
cities in south India.
On arrival check in to
hotel and then on for
a sight seeing tour of
Madurai visiting - the
famous "Meenakshy
temple" where in
you can experience the
real south Indian temple,
different people &
way of worships etc…Later
visit the Tirumalai Nayak
palace.

| Return
to hotel and after dinner
once again visit Meenakshy
temple for the ceremony
with a fanfare, where the
god Shiva is lead to the
bedroom of his wife, Meenakshi.
Madurai is also a great
place to look for bronze
statues, carpets or other
souvenirs (Overnight at
hotel in Madurai) . |

- 06
|
|
Madurai
:- Check out from the hotel
accordingly and the tour
ends today with a departure
transfer to Madurai airport/railway
station for your onward
journey.
